Distribution

Franchising

contrast has particular experience in supporting franchisors with the roll-out of their franchise network in Belgium, assisting them in their strategic decision-making process as well as their day-to-day dealings with their franchisees.

Our involvement ranges from the pre-contractual phase up to the termination of the agreement, assisting our clients in out-of-court settlements or, where advisable or necessary, in litigation before court.

Given the strategic importance of location for franchise networks in the retail sector, contrast has developed a strong expertise in commercial lease agreements.

In case litigation is unavoidable, contrast has a broad experience in litigation, including in seeking and defending summary proceedings. We act for clients in a variety of areas, including unfair trade practices, distribution law and commercial disputes of a contractual nature.
