contrast competition law team receives Global Competition Review Award

The contrast competition law team, as part of a combined team with Eversheds Sutherland and Cleary Gottlieb, received the Global Competition Review (“GCR”) Award for Behavioral Matter of the Year (Europe) for its work in the European Commission’s Trucks settlement case. The Award was handed over at the annual GCR Awards ceremony in Washington DC on 29 March 2017. With this Award, the teams were recognized for the creative, strategic and innovative work carried out in the Trucks case. The Trucks case marks the first (hybrid) settlement case after the European Commission had already issued a statement of objections. GCR is the world’s leading competition law and policy journal.
