Monique Sengeløv joined contrast in September 2017. She is an associate active in (EU and Belgian) competition law, currently specializing on abuse of dominance matters and horizontal agreements. She also has considerable expertise in private enforcement. In addition, Monique is part of the Automotive Task Force within contrast where she specifically focuses on recent developments in the automotive sector with respect to horizontal matters.

Monique holds a master degree in law (magna cum laude) from Ghent University and also obtained an LL.M. in European Union Law (magna cum laude) at Ghent University. During her studies, she also took part in the Summer School Competition Law & Policy at London School of Economics (London).

Monique has contributed to publications on the topic of private enforcement.

Monique is a member of the Brussels Bar. She speaks Dutch, English and Danish.
