Top rankings for contrast

contrast is very proud that the contrast Competition & EU team continues to be ranked as the absolute top (Band 1) for Belgian competition law by Chambers & Partners and Legal 500. For the EU, our team is ranked no. 2 of the independent Belgian law firms active in this area. Chambers ranks Frank Wijckmans in band 1 and Filip Tuytschaever in band 3 (competition/domestic). Both of them are recognized by Legal 500 as being amongst the 9 ‘leading lawyers’ for Belgian competition law. Anouk Foquet (senior associate) and Karolien Francken (associate) are also recommended.

This splendid ranking is the result of a true team effort of the 18 lawyers, 2 paralegals and the support team which are part of our Competition & EU team. A special thanks goes to our referees for quoting our team as being “very pragmatic, down-to-earth, accessible and the foremost authority as far as distribution agreements and distribution systems are concerned” and for enthusing that "the quality is always there, even though they are swift and concise when you want them to be”.
