On 23 September 2020, Sébastien Engelen will address the relation between sport and competition law at a luncheon debate of the Belgian Association for the Study of Competition Law. Together with Ben Van Rompuy (University Leyden), he will address recent developments at the EU and Belgian level regarding topics such as sports associations as market gatekeeper, the interplay between sports arbitration and public enforcement of EU competition law, as well as the interim measures sports case before the Belgian Competition Authority.
